André Wickström André Wickström is a Finnish-Swedish comedian and actor, performing in both Swedish and Finnish. He is at the forefront of Finnish stand-up, and a household name thanks to television. His show W-tyyli was aired in September 2003, and it has since received mixed feedback. The show won a Venla award in the category for "best entertainment show" in 2005. In 2006, he was one of the hosts of the TV show Veckans nyheter on Kanal 5 in Sweden. The first time he performed stand-up was in 1995 at the twentieth anniversary of his old school. Straight away he knew his destiny laid in stand up, and he decided to apply to the Theatre Academy of Finland in Helsinki. After graduating in 1999 it took him only three years to be able to support himself by doing solely stand-up. Many laughs are promised so don't miss your chance to see André on stage, entertaining like nobody else. |
