Janne Hyöty Janne has co-written and produced songs like Jeannie "Kiss me", Anna Stenlund "A little crazy", Jonna K "Like believers do", and Kentala "Deck of cards" for the Eurovision Song Contest in Finland. Janne also wrote 4 songs for the talented Finnish singer Laura Vuotilainen on her latest release "Tässä hetkessä". Other works are Mirella, Nani "You and I", Anna Stenlund " Music on", and the soundtrack for the TV-show JOX (FST). Jannes’ main instruments are six-string, 12-string, electric, acoustic, slide, and baritone guitar, and now even the pedal steel guitar. He has been working professionally as a musician since the early 90's and most musical styles are familiar to him, including pop, rock, jazz and country. His influences are Mark Knopfler, Wes Montgomery, Lowell George, Pat Metheny, Brian Setzer, and Eddie Shaver. Janne has been doing gigs as a session player, theatre musician, and playing tons of live gigs with artists like Håkan Hemlin, Nordman, Mike Estes (Lynyrd skynyrd), Nils Landgren, The Platters, and many more. Along with playing gigs he’s also been teaching upcoming guitarists in the art of playing. |
